La composizione strumentistica del duo Mandolino e Chitarra rappresenta per eccellenza l'ideale per ogni tipo di intrattenimento. La loro unione musicale crea un perfetto equilibrio tra armonia e melodia capace di incuriosire e solleticare l'interesse di ogni ascoltatore. Dalla storia cinquecentenaria questi strumenti hanno deliziato le corti nobiliari, stuzzicato l'ingegno compositivo ed esecutivo di grandi maestri quali Paganini, Beethoven, Mozart, Vivaldi e Verdi ed inventato un nuovo linguaggio musicale, quello delle corde pizzicate, oggi apprezzato in tutto il mondo.
Il duo M&G in sicilia ha una tradizione antichissima, infatti nell' ottocento gli artigiani si riunivano in bottega dopo il lavoro ed amavano trascorrere lunghe serate studiando gli strumenti e  suonando insieme danze e canti.

Da noi viene proposta una formula di intrattenimento molto varia, il nostro repertorio attinge da ogni stile possibile.

The instrumental composition of the duo Mandolin - Guitar brilliantly represents the ideal version for each kind of entertainment. Their musical union creates a perfect balance between harmony and melody, capable of arousing  interest and curiosity whenever you hear it. Since 500 years these instruments have delighted the noble courts. They have stimulated the talent to compose and execute  of great masters such as Paganini, Beethoven, Mozart, Vivaldi and Verdi. Besides, these instruments have invented a new musical language, the one of the plucked instruments, which  nowadays is appreciated all over the world. The DUO Mandolin - Guitar looks back on a very old tradition in Sicily. In fact, during  the 19th century, the artisans used to assemble in their shops after work and  loved to spend long evenings studying these instruments and playing together songs and dance music.

We propose a very varied formula  of entertainment, our repertoire drawing from all sorts of style.
